Our Staff

TJ von Oehsen joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy team in June 2023. As the Coalition & Convening Manager, TJ is supporting efforts to convene community members, citizen advocates, and public space partners around key geographies and common issues.

He joined the team having worked in the Office of Reentry Partnerships for the past four years as the Coordinator of the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition, where he worked to increase the communication, collaboration, and capacities of the 130 organizations belonging to the coalition. He’s also worked as a Policy and Research Fellow at the Education Law Center.

TJ is originally from Montgomery, NJ and graduated from Haverford College in 2018. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor trips both big and small; whether it be rolling out a blanket on Belmont Plateau with friends, paddling a canoe, or hiking in a national forest. He also participates regularly in Philadelphia’s ultimate frisbee league and grew up going to a circus arts program called Trenton Circus Squad.
