PRESERVATION TECHNICIAN
Fairmount Park Conservancy is hiring for two Preservation Technicians. The Preservation Technician role executes on-site and shop labor for the preservation team, including carpentry and masonry work on historic structures. This position requires competency in hands-on preservation trades work, good problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and the ability to perform quality handwork efficiently.
This role directly reports to the Preservation Project Manager and works closely with the Senior Director of Capital Projects.

RFP: FDR Park - Gateway Phase Planting Renovation & Pattison Fields Picnic and Play Meadows
Fairmount Park Conservancy brings parks to life. We work with the City of Philadelphia and its communities to steward our parks and nurture our shared environment, cultural resources, and public health. The Conservancy is seeking qualified organizations to oversee the site preparation and implement of seeded planting renovations and meadow establishment and long-term maintenance in FDR Park. A mandatory pre bid conference for all bidders will be held at the project site (1954 Pattison Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19145) on July 15, 2026, at 9:30am, local time. RFP Submission Forms will be due no later than July 31, 2026, 5pm EST. Proposals received after the due date and time will not be accepted. Digital files of the proposal should be saved as portable document format (“pdf”). Additional details will be provided at a later date regarding the submission procedures.
