James Neal joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy team in March 2023. In his role as Accounts Payable Specialist, James is responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, credit card reports, and performing account reconciliations as needed.

James’s background in the arts and non-profit organizations as a project manager with such historic building renovation projects as The Winslow Homer Studio in Maine, Freeman’s Auction House, and Smith Memorial Playhouse in Philadelphia brings helpful insight to the Conservancy team. He graduated from the University of Southern Maine and most recently completed the Non-profit Executive Leadership Institute program at the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College. Outside of work Jim gardens, makes handmade paper, and loves hiking, biking, and swimming. His favorite Philadelphia park is Wissahickon Valley Park.
