Our Staff

Eduardo joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy team in April 2022. In his role as Volunteer Manager, Ed is responsible for running the Volunteer Leaders program and open community volunteer work days, as well as collaborating on volunteer programming for corporate stewardship groups, Love Your Park service days, and working closely with the Park Friends Network to plan and execute a range of programs.

Originally from Honduras, Ed has a bachelor’s degree in Eco-tourism and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development. After moving to the United States, he worked at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education as the Manager of School Programs. Ed is passionate about environmental education, community organizing, and building partnerships in support of sustainable environments.
