Andrew joined the Conservancy in 2016 through the PHMC summer apprenticeship program. He was happy to have the opportunity to stay on after the program ended, having come to love the field of historic preservation. The work offers the ability to interact manually with materials while considering how construction unfolded. He has sought to formalize his preservation education through coursework at Bucks County Community College.
Prior to working at FPC, he worked with his father, a third generation plumbing and heating contractor. He met other contractors through this upbringing and had the chance to work in various other trades. His experiences led to an interest in the history of building techniques and trades. He attended Temple University where he studied Art History.
