Celebrate Love Your Park Week!
Along with 100 cleanups all across Philly's parks, Love Your Park Week features dozens of fun and free events, from bird walks to dinners in the park. Check out some highlights of the week below. For more events, visit loveyourpark.org/events.

Take a Mother's Day yoga class at the Greenhouse
Enjoy a special Mother’s Day and Love Your Park Week version of our yoga classes surrounded by tropical plants in the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center! Free, but registration is required.

Learn to row on the Schuylkill
Join us for a special Love Your Park Week Learn to Row clinic with BLJ Community Rowing! Beginners will learn the breakdown of the stroke, how to get in and out of the boat, rules of the river, and the many technical aspects of the sport in an easy-to-understand way. Registration is required.

Take a bike tour of public art in the park
Join the Association for Public Art for a guided 6-8 mile bike tour of public art in Fairmount Park. The ride will start at the foot of the Philadelphia Museum of Art stairs and end at Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. Free, but registration is required.

Go for a hike in Wissahickon Valley Park
Join hike leader Brad Maule on a partial tour of the Cresheim Creek Trail. Meet at Allen Lane Station at 5:45pm for an abridged loop hike that starts and ends at Allen Lane Train station. Free, but registration is required.

Enjoy a campfire at Pennypack

Peruse a plant sale at Ned Wolf Park
Head to the lovely Ned Wolf Park in West Mt. Airy for its annual plant sale! Hundreds of perennials, shrubs, annuals, and more flowers and plants will be for sale. Garden tools, books, and pots, as well. Pay as you go.
