Boxers’ Trail

This 3.8-mile scenic wooded trail is named after its original use as a training ground to generations of Philadelphia boxers, including world champion boxer Joe Frazier.

Approximately 10 miles in length, this trail for bikers, walkers and runners connects to a broader trail network 60 miles in length. Schuylkill Banks, located between the Fairmount Water Works and Locust Street, is a linear park that hosts a variety of events throughout the year.

This skatepark includes elements to appeal to the general public like granite and steel benches and sweeping views of the Schuylkill River and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Lloyd Hall

Lloyd Hall is a public athletic center on Boathouse Row and a great point of departure for an outing into Fairmount Park. In addition to equipment rentals and snacks, Lloyd Hall offers restrooms and a water fountain. Indoor basketball courts have public hours and host leagues.

Glendinning Rock Garden

Named after its benefactors Robert and Elizabeth Glendinning, the garden is a perfect size and shape for throwing a football or frisbee around. The tranquil sound of the trickling stream makes the garden perfect for a picnic.

PA Center for Adapted Sports

The Center serves 500 individuals with disabilities annually, including Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel.
