Concourse Lake Native Plant Park

Concourse Lake in West Fairmount Park was officially dedicated as a Philadelphia Native Plant Park on June 9, 2012. 142 native trees of 24 various species and 503 shrubs of 24 different species have beenĀ planted at the 14-acre site surrounding Concourse Lake.

Fairmount Park Horticulture Center

100 North Horticultural Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19131

The Horticulture Center, a modern exhibition hall and greenhouse, is located in beautiful Fairmount Park. The Center was built in 1979 and sits on the site of the former Horticultural Hall, and the 1876 Centennial Exposition building. The grounds and greenhouses are open daily and the venue can host private parties from 100 to 1,200 guests. The Horticulture Center can be reached at 215.685.0096.

FDR Park

FDR Park is a 348 acre respite in South Philadelphia including 77 acres of natural lands, a golf course, 20 tennis courts, 8 playing fields, a playground and many other amenities.

Hatfield House

The Hatfield House was donated to Fairmount Park Commission by Major Henry Reed Hatfield in 1929-1930 and moved one story at a time to 33rd and Girard Avenue, its present location.
