Centennial District Planning Initiative

Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Fairmount Park Conservancy, and West Fairmount Park’s largest anchor institutions (The Mann Center, Philadelphia Zoo, and the Please Touch Museum) are working together on a planning initiative to identify the next series of ambitious projects that will transform the physical landscape of a portion of the Centennial District.

On June 21st, we invited the Parkside Community to Exchange Ideas and:

• Meet three design teams ready to inspire you to think boldly about the future of the Centennial District
• Help us imagine possible futures for the Centennial District
• Learn about the next steps in the planning process
• Enjoy free snacks, beverages, and water ice
