In one month, you’re invited to experience Fairmount Park like never before, with the debut of In Motion, In Place: Trisha Brown Dance Company in Fairmount Park!
In Motion, In Place will take place in Fairmount Park and on the rooftops surrounding Logan Circle in a series of free performances from September 24-29:
- Roof Piece on the rooftops surrounding Logan Circle
- Foray Forêt on the grounds of the historic Mount Pleasant Mansion in East Fairmount Park
- and Raft Piece on the Strawberry Mansion Reservoir at the Discovery Center in East Fairmount Park
Performances are free, but guests are encouraged to reserve their free tickets online here.
In Motion, In Place marks the first time these works will be presented in Philadelphia, expanding on Trisha Brown Dance Company’s recent engagements with presenters worldwide to explore outdoor spaces such as the High Line in New York and the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, Italy.
