Our Staff

Carlos Vasquez Jr. joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy team in April 2023. In his role as Facilities Technician, he contributes to the Facilities team by supporting physical maintenance of the historic properties, landscapes, and other assets in the Fairmount Park Conservancy’s portfolio.

Before joining the Conservancy, Carlos dedicated his career to Mural Arts Philadelphia, laying a solid foundation for his subsequent role at Fairmount Park Conservancy. In his last role as Operations Crew Foreman, he efficiently organized and executed on-site production for over 100 public art projects annually, leading a team of labor crew workers and additional volunteers. Carlos demonstrated expertise in work plan implementation, vendor management, and ensuring strict compliance with safety policies and regulations.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Carlos’ dedication to his craft and community makes him an excellent addition to the Conservancy team. An active lover of parks throughout the city, from Wissahickon Valley Park to Pennypack Park, he finds solace and inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds him.
