The following opportunities are currently open at Fairmount Park Conservancy.
Park Program Leader (Multiple Positions)
Park Program Leaders will work with both our Program Manager and our Director of Events and Engagement to help plan, assist, and execute public programs, activations, and special events. These contract positions will primarily work nights and weekends from April to December, averaging 5–10 hours per week with some fluctuation. Contract workers will not have taxes taken out of their pay on a biweekly basis but instead will be given a 1099 at the end of the year and will use that to file taxes.
Please prepare a resume as either PDF or Word document and submit via the link below. The application deadline is March 8.
Boating Program Leader (One Position)
The Boating Program Leader will work with our Program Manager and contracted boating partners to lead paddle boating programs at FDR Park in South Philadelphia. Additionally, the Boating Program Leader will be responsible for boat maintenance throughout the season (approximately 5 hours per month). This contract position will work 10-15 hours per month, April–November, between boating programs and boat maintenance. Boating programs have scheduled dates (see full position listing linked below); boat maintenance can be completed on your own schedule, as long as it falls within park hours. Contract workers will not have taxes taken out of their pay on a biweekly basis but instead will be given a 1099 at the end of the year and will use that to file taxes.
Please prepare a resume as either PDF or Word document and submit via the link below. The application deadline is March 8.
