Join We Walk PHL for a social mixer & guided walk along the beautiful Cobbs Creek Trail to the newly renovated Johnny Sample Recreation Center.

Attendees are welcome to join Fairmount Park Conservancy, Rebuild, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, and community members for the official Johnny Sample Recreation Center ribbon cutting celebration at 2:30 PM, featuring facility tours, refreshments, and family-friendly fun!

All are welcome. This is a family-friendly, stroller friendly walk.

We Walk PHL is a program in partnership between Fairmount Park Conservancy, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation that offers free weekly walking groups at various public parks throughout the city. This program welcomes people of all ages and abilities looking to meet their neighbors and improve their physical and mental health.

Walk leaders will be there to greet & guide you. Let’s celebrate health and wellness in Philadelphia one step at a time!
