Join Fairmount Park Conservancy for a volunteer workday at Parkside Edge! Help care for this important green space by watering, weeding, and mulching herbaceous plants and shrubs, as well as picking up litter. Your efforts will support the health and beauty of the park for the entire community to enjoy.

All tools and gloves will be provided—just bring your energy and enthusiasm!

TIMELINE  

9:00 AM – Check-in
9:15 AM – Welcome & safety briefing
9:20 AM – Group photo
9:25 AM – Begin projects
11:45 AM – Wrap-up
12:00 PM – Event ends

MEETING LOCATION

Meet near Welsh Fountain. Parking is available along S Concourse Drive and Avenue of the Republic. Look for the green tent.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:

• Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Long pants and long sleeves recommended
• Closed-toe shoes required
• Reusable water bottle (water provided)
• Gloves (provided, optional to bring your own)

 
ADDITIONAL INFO:

• Restrooms (porta-potties) available
• Free parking nearby (do not leave valuables in your car)
