Join the Fairmount Park Conservancy team for a volunteer workday at FDR Park’s Meadow Lake!
Volunteers will plant native trees and shrubs around Meadow Lake and install protective cages and tree guards. Work may also include watering newly planted trees. These efforts will help restore habitat, support local wildlife, and strengthen the park’s natural ecosystem.
This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, work alongside your colleagues, and make a lasting impact on one of Philadelphia’s most unique natural spaces. No prior experience is necessary—we’ll provide the tools, snacks, materials, and guidance you need.
Thank you for helping us grow a healthier and more resilient FDR Park!
