Join Fairmount Park Conservancy and DJ Valentin Flores of Dance Philly on select Fridays from 7-11 PM at FDR Park’s Gateway Plaza. Experience culture, meet new people, and discover a fun and enjoyable way to keep yourself fit by moving your feet. Hosted by Fairmount Park Conservancy, DJ Valentin Flores, and Dance Philly.
The program begins with a one-hour dance lesson from 7–8 PM followed by a social dance from 8–11 PM. The lesson is taught by an experienced instructor, who will accommodate all levels.
The Gateway Plaza in FDR Park is located at the corner of Broad and Pattison (more information on location and parking below). This accessible space serves as a pedestrian-friendly entryway to the park and features custom benches, bike racks, water misters, stormwater basins, a colorful six-foot-tall steel sign, native plantings, and more.
TICKETS: FREE! Please RSVP. Donations are appreciated and go towards continuing free programs such as this one throughout the park.
