Caroline Charuk joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy team in October 2025. In her role as Development Manager, Caroline is responsible for donation-related data, supporting the rest of the fundraising team in creating strong relationships and developing new strategies with major donors, institutional grant makers, and corporate sponsors. She also manages the annual appeal, inviting all fans of the park system to make their contribution towards equitable, accessible green spaces in Philadelphia.
Before joining the Conservancy, Caroline managed membership, development, and operations in organizations dedicated to the arts including Fleisher Art Memorial and the Textile Society of America. She got her start in community-based nonprofit work developing arts curricula and teaching ceramics to children and adults in art centers, after school programs, and in-school residencies. She holds degrees from Alfred University and California College of the Arts.
Since moving to Philadelphia in 2019, Caroline has found community through ceramics, textiles, urban foraging, and riding bikes in the woods. Her favorite trails to ride are in the Wissahickon and Belmont Plateau.
