Looking for free outdoor movies in Philadelphia? More than 20 Philly parks will host free movie nights this summer and fall, featuring family-friendly favorites like “Zootopia 2,” “Hoppers,” “Goat,” and more.
These outdoor screenings are organized by Philadelphia’s Park Friends Groups with support from Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Fairmount Park Conservancy, bringing free family entertainment to neighborhoods across the city.
Bring a blanket, pack your favorite snacks, and join us at dusk for a movie under the stars. Check with your local Park Friends Group for the latest updates and any schedule changes.

Friday Flicks at the Fountain
Fairmount Park Conservancy’s outdoor movie nights are returning to West Fairmount Park in August! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us at the Welsh Fountain for family-friendly activities and movie nights under the stars. These events are free and take place from 7:45-10 PM, with the movie starting around 8:15 PM.
As we prepare to restore the Welsh Fountain in West Fairmount Park, all our movies and pre-show activities this summer will have a water theme!
