Game Day at the Oval

More park, more play! The 2018 season at the Oval is bigger and better than ever before. In addition to the 8 acres of park space created on Eakins Oval (2451 Benjamin Franklin Parkway), three blocks of the Parkway have been closed to automobile traffic and turned over to pedestrians.

On Saturday August 4, from 12:00 – 4:00 PM, join the Village of Arts & Humanities as they activate the Parkway street area in front of the Rodin museum.

Activities will include:

  • A photo booth to capture fun, creative portraits
  • Clay-making and ceramics activities
  • Facilitated games, like life sized Jenna, red rover, and handball
  • A printmaking station

The Oval is opened Wednesday – Sunday until August 19. You can find up-to-date information on all events and programming here.
