Marketing & Membership Manager
Sara Hirschler joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy in July of 2013. She was ecstatic to apply her background in marketing to something she is very passionate about; Philly’s parks and open spaces. Prior to the Conservancy, Sara spent eight years at a local branding firm planning and executing brand strategy, consumer research and account management projects for a variety of nonprofit, retail, consumer goods and business service companies. Before joining the Conservancy, she spearheaded a project in her neighborhood that eventually led to the transformation of Roberto Clemente Playground in the Spring Garden neighborhood; a project that solidified her passion.
Sara is responsible for Fairmount Park Conservancy’s marketing and communications, its membership program, and for its annual Broad Street Run fundraiser. Over the last four years, Sara has played a key role in elevating the brand presence of the Conservancy and in building its membership program through the coordination and planning of nearly 70 member events each year.
Sara, originally from Budapest, Hungary, has an MBA from Drexel University. She loves practicing yoga, riding her bicycle and going for hikes with her family. She strongly believes you should become a member of the Conservancy because it is the best way to get to know Philly’s amazing parks!
