Kim Jordan joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy in December 2014. Prior to the Conservancy, she worked as program manager of a small corporate foundation focused on sustainable agriculture. Kim has planted fruit trees and berry bushes all over the city as a volunteer and board member of Philadelphia Orchard Project, including an orchard at the newly revitalized Hunting Park. Originally from California, she didn’t own a winter coat before moving to Philadelphia to obtain a PhD in Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania. Kim looks forward to planting more trees around the city in its many parks and community gardens.
