Kim Jordan joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy in December 2014. Prior to the Conservancy, she worked as program manager of a small corporate foundation focused on sustainable agriculture. Kim has planted fruit trees and berry bushes all over the city as a volunteer and board member of Philadelphia Orchard Project, including an orchard at the newly revitalized Hunting Park. In 2017, Kim helped to launch We Walk PHL – a program offering free walking groups at city parks – in partnership with Get Healthy Philly.
Originally from California, she didn’t own a winter coat before moving to Philadelphia but has now set down roots here. Kim earned a PhD in Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania and has a BS in Biology from UC San Diego.
