Giulia joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy team as the Development Manager in March of 2019. Together with the fundraising team at the Conservancy, she works to bring the programming and capital project work that supports the mission of the Conservancy to life. Giulia develops donor engagement strategies, manages the Conservancy’s donor database, and writes grants. She brings four years of fundraising experience from Conservancy partner organization, Friends of the Wissahickon, as well as a degree in Geoscience from Skidmore College.
Giulia grew up in Brooklyn, where she developed a passion for city parks while working summers teaching marine biology at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, buying new house plants, cooking with family and friends, practicing her Italian, and watching old movies with her one-eared cat Vinny van Meow. You can find Giulia exploring Philly’s many neighborhoods or walking her favorite trail—the White Trail, right off the Hartwell Lane Trailhead—in Wissahickon Valley Park.
