George Kelly joined the Fairmount Park Conservancy team as Chief Financial Officer in October 2024. In his role as CFO, George oversees the financial operations of the organization, providing strategic leadership in finance, accounting, and operational efficiencies to support the Conservancy’s mission. He collaborates closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization, enabling the continued stewardship of Philadelphia’s 10,200 acres of parks.

Prior to joining the Conservancy, George served as the Chief Financial Officer at Archway Communities, where he directed the organization’s finance, accounting, HR, and technology functions. He played a pivotal role in leading financial restructuring, improving cash flow, and strengthening capital partnerships. His career spans over 20 years in executive leadership roles at nonprofit and for-profit organizations. George holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.

In addition to his professional career, George is an 11-year U.S. Army veteran, having served both on Active Duty and in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
