The Conservancy offers internships and apprenticeships for its architectural conservation program. Interns receive hands-on experience in historic preservation and conservation, performing a variety of preservation carpentry projects, masonry repairs, and painting and maintenance activities.

Interns also have the opportunity to work with National Historic Landmark buildings and many other architecturally significant structures located throughout Fairmount Park and the Philadelphia region.

In early June, interns have the opportunity to join in a three-day preservation trades workshop sponsored by the Pennsylvania Museum and Historical Commission in partnership with the Fairmount Park Conservancy at the Daniel Boone Homestead in Berks County.
