Cobbs Creek Park is an 800-acre greenway of forested valleys, wetlands, and trails. It’s also the site of a major forest restoration project, aimed at improving Philly’s resilience to ever warmer and wetter seasons. Join us to learn more and to help prepare our forests for this changing climate! We’ll spend the morning pulling vines, clearing invasives, and working to preserve Philly’s forests.

Projects are lead by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Fairmount Park Conservancy staff. All tools and materials are provided- including work gloves, snacks, and coffee!

Plan to wear sturdy, closed toed shoes, and clothes you won’t mind getting dirty. Make sure to pack yourself plenty of water and to layer up!

This is an outdoor event, so we may need to cancel in the event of heavy rain or snow. Please check your inbox the week-of for confirmations.
