Help preserve restore the forests of Tacony Creek Park! Join Fairmount Park Conservancy for a tree planting in this beautiful watershed park in lower Northeast Philadelphia.

This fall, Fairmount Park Conservancy is planting 1,250 trees in parks across Philadelphia, including over 550 in Tacony Creek Park.
Project leaders will be on site to guide the work. No experience necessary! Beginners welcome.
All tools and materials will be provided, including work gloves (though you’re welcome to bring your own). Please note, restrooms are not available at this location and volunteers should bring plenty of water for themselves.
Remember to bring a mask, and to stay home if you experience COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days.
This event will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or thunder.
