Join astronomy educator Buddy Muhler and stargazers of all ages at Lemon Hill and Belmont Plateau (location changes each month-see below) to learn about the astronomical wonders of the night sky. We’ll gaze at planets and the the waxing crescent moon- the best phase for seeing it’s textured surface!

Novice and experienced astronomers alike will be given insights and tips by experienced instructor Buddy Muhler. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own telescopes or high powered binoculars. Limited telescopes available to view from with sanitation protocol in place.

TICKET PRICES: Pay what you can – $10, $15, or $20

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
– If you have binoculars or a telescope, please bring it! There will be limited equipment to share (with cleaning measures in place)
– Bring a folding chair
– Please dress according to weather conditions.
– Bring water and a snack
-There are nearby bathrooms (port-a-potties)
-Appropriate for adults & mature adolescents (minors must be ticketed and accompanied by a guardian)

PARKING: There is plenty of free parking in the park. As always, NEVER leave valuables in your car!

PRESENTER(S) BIO: Buddy Muhler is an amateur astronomer who formerly worked as a science educator at The Franklin Institute. He has over 15 years experience operating telescopes and educating the public on astronomy.
