Join Fairmount Park Conservancy and Sound Meditation Practitioner Eunmi Chang for a one-of-a-kind immersive experience on October 21 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Lemon Hill Mansion. Let the soothing sounds of nature meld with the rhythmic echoes of bowls underneath the canopy of Lemon Hill’s sycamore trees. Manage your stress, improve your well-being, and literally find your grounding on the grass of a gorgeous historic house.
What is a Sound Bath? Essentially, a sound bath is a meditation class with ambient sound played by the instructor that aims to guide you into a deeper meditative state. Sound baths use singing bowls and other traditional instruments to play repetitive notes at different frequencies to help bring your focus away from your obsessive thoughts. Think of it as an improvised meditative “concert” in a unique setting that combines nature and the built environment.
Optional group hike on the Lemon Hill Trail after the meditation session.
