Beginners are encouraged to focus on drawing. Intermediate/Advanced painters can either focus on the drawing or bring their paints/easels.
When: October 17th, 10:00-3:00
Where: Woodford Mansion & Orchard, 3400 West Dauphin Drive
Who: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced drawers/painters
Medium: Acrylic, Gouache, Oil Paint, or Graphite/Charcoal.
Caleb is an oil painter with extensive training in Classical Realism and Russian Impressionism. His educational background is diverse; he is a graduate of Neilson Carlin’s Atelier in Kennett Square, graduated with a B.A. in Art from Covenant College, and apprenticed with artist Daud Akhriev. He has been a full-time painter since 2015, and his current work focuses on plein air paintings of the Pennsylvania landscape. When not making work onsite, he paints from his studio in Fairmount. In addition to painting, he enjoys leading workshops on landscape painting and academic color theory.
Materials (Suggested, not required):
Drawing: HB pencil, 2B pencil, pencil sharpener, eraser, 12×16” or so drawing pad/paper
