Parks on Tap will be traveling to Playing Angels at Kelly Drive, August 12th-August 14th

About the Park:

Along the Schuylkill River, where Kelly Drive meets Fountain Green Drive, the historic Playing Angels sculpture by Carl Milles can be seen in the sky. These sculptures have been along Kelly Drive since 1972. The angels were originally intended for a private site in Philadelphia however, when plans fell through, the Association for Public Art purchased them and installed them in their present home. The angels are placed on tall pedestals and offer a unique backdrop for the Schuylkill River.
