Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation would like to invite all current and potential Park Friends Network members to join us to learn more about the Network at Wissahickon Brewery on Tuesday, October, 17th from 5PM-7PM.

The first 50 people to arrive will have their first beer or cider on us! There will be the Molto Bene Ravioli Co. Food Truck on-site for purchase.

This year we celebrate 30 years of the Park Friends Network, to reflect on this milestone we’re to reflect on the history and future of the 140+ Park Friends Groups! During the event there will be opportunities to:

• Meet with current members of the Network to learn more about getting involved in your own neighborhood and the activities available to participate in
• Hear stories about how the Network has grown from 4 groups initially to 140+ groups
• See the value in being a part of the Network directly through the positive impact on the Philadelphia Park system since the Network’s inception in 1993
