Love Your Park Week is held each May and offers nine days of volunteer opportunities and special events that celebrate Philly’s parks. We kick off LYP Week with a citywide service day to “clean and green,” engaging 2,500 volunteers to clean up trash and litter, tend gardens and flower beds, care for trees, and more. The kick-off service day is followed by dozens of fun, free events in parks across Philadelphia that celebrate our public green spaces and invite neighbors.
