Enjoy a unique and all-levels paced hike through the Wissahickon with environmentalist, author and artist, Brad Maule.
Hike will be about 4 miles (2-3 hours).
Head for the Wissahickon and join Brad Maule (whose exhibition “One Man’s Trash” is currently on display at the Fairmount Water Works) for a loop hike of the park’s greatest hits. We’ll descend the Cresheim Valley, stop at Devil’s Pool, cross Fingerspan, and come back into civilization through Carpenter’s Woods. Meet at Allen Lane train station. Ride the Chestnut Hill West Line there or you can bike or drive. Parking available on Cresheim Road, Nippon Street, and Mt Airy Ave near Allen Lane train station.
Event is FREE for Fairmount Park Conservancy members and $10 for non-members.
