What do you want to see at our FDR Park pop-up playground? Do you want a space to climb? How about a place to slide, roll or bounce? Do you want an area where you can regularly build your own forts or play with sticks and mud? Come to Saturday’s workshop to actually ‘build’ and test your ideas with drills, wood, and all sorts of fun materials.

Join us and Tiny WPA to help design and build a full scale, pop-up playground for the FDR Park Clubhouse Lawn on Saturday, April 23rd from 10:00 am -1:00 pm.

• Learn how to use basic tools
• All ages encouraged!
• No experience necessary
• Snacks will be provided
• There are nearby bathrooms in the Clubhouse.

This event is the first of two community workshops. Please also join us for our second workshop on Saturday, May 21st from 10:00 am -1:00 pm. Community builds for the final play space design will occur in early July 2022. The pop-up playground will be up for a year while FDR Park’s new permanent playground is built.

TICKET PRICES: This event is FREE and open to the public.

PARKING: there is plenty of free parking in the park. As always, NEVER leave valuables in your car!
