This is a fun mixed level group exercise class held outdoor in the elements. Among the types of movement conducted are burpees, pushups, running, climbing, jumping, lunges etc. Participants are encouraged to always go at their own level( modifications will be given). Arrive on time because this class often changes destinations once the class begins. Our starting location will be the ‘Boxers Trail Gateway’ pergola at 33rd & Dauphin in East Fairmount Park.
Designed to stimulate weight loss, improve overall functional fitness level, enhance endurance and build core and muscular strength, this is a class for beginners-intermediate participants. Come with an open mind and you will leave being surprised what your body can do.
TICKET PRICES: Pay what you can – $15, $20, or $25
Participation is limited to 20 people per class. Advance tickets are required.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
-No special equipment is necessary: just you, comfortable shoes, and bottled water (Drinking water is not available in the park).
-Due to the rigorous nature of the workout, this class is appropriate for adults only
-Please dress according to weather conditions.
-There are nearby bathrooms available before or after class (if absolutely necessary)

- This event will be capped at 20 people. Please only register if you fully intend to attend and let us know if you need to cancel ASAP.
- All participants must wear a mask for the duration of the event
- Participants must maintain 6 feet of distance from one another during the event
- If you or anyone in your household are exhibiting COVID-19 systems, please stay home.
POSTPONEMENT / CANCELLATION POLICY: This event will take place in light rain. In the event of heavy rain or other severe conditions, the event will be cancelled and attendees are eligible for a full refund.
INSTRUCTOR BIO: Yvonne Ferguson-Hardin (Fergie) has been a Fitness Professional in the industry for over 25 years. Having roles such as a Therapeutic Recreation Director, Brain Injury Therapist and Activity /Volunteer Coordinator, to name a few, Yvonne has always been involved with changing the lives of others through Health and Fitness. Creating her Business, ‘Fergie’s Instructional Training FIT LLC’ , in 2009 allowed her to take her passion and experience to the next level. She has created a series of Educational movement Programs called ‘The Efficacy of Aging’, which she brings to the Older adults in LTC facilities, residential homes, Senior Centers and to novice individuals who are retired or newly embarking on their journey of health and fitness. Yvonne Ferguson Hardin possesses the innate drive and unstoppable passion that remains the heart her ability to be successful in business and serve the people. She saw a need and decided that she was responsible to initiate a plan to do something about it. Yvonne Ferguson Hardin’s generosity and passion to make a difference in the lives of others enables her to be a leader and hugely active influence in her community.
