Boxers’ Trail 5k

The Boxers Trail is like no other. It twists through forests and meadows, up hills and along shady creeks; passes historic mansions and vibrant playgrounds. This trail was a favorite of Joe Frazier- and many other boxing greats.

On September 18, 2021, walk or run the scenic cliff paths of the Boxers’ Trail in East Fairmount Park where heavyweight boxing champion Joe Frazier trained.

Proceeds from the Boxers’ Trail 5K benefit East Fairmount Park and Mander Recreation Center, which organizes youth programs, including runs along the Boxers’ Trail.

Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9:30 a.m.

Run: $20 until 9/8 – then it increases to $25

Walk: $15 until 9/8 – then it increases to $20

Youth 5k (ages 13-17): $10 until 9/8 then it increases to $15

KIDS UNDER 12 can participate for free!
