Did you know that 95% of Philadelphia residents live within 10 minutes of a park? Parks are integral to our city and daily lives. Fairmount Park Conservancy is proud to be the nonprofit that brings Philadelphia’s parks to life.

The Conservancy holds a deep belief that every neighborhood in Philadelphia deserves beautiful and accessible civic spaces. Our semi-annual Love Your Park Week brings out thousands of volunteers to over 110 parks throughout the city every year to tend gardens and flower beds, maintain and plant trees, and clean up litter. Your gift could help buy tools and equipment to be provided to these volunteer groups.

The Conservancy is working hard to engage everybody in the creation of a world-class park system in Philadelphia. Whether it’s our ¡BAILAR en FDR! salsa classes, outdoor movie nights, or family field days, our programs engage thousands of people of all backgrounds and ages every year. Your gift could help us secure instructors and supplies for events just like these.

The Conservancy hosts events and programs in every season of the year to celebrate the beauty, majesty, and wonder of our parks. From Winter around the World to West Park Harvest Fest, tree plantings to weekly walking groups, we’ve been busy all year long celebrating and strengthening the public parks that are the heart of our neighborhoods and the pride of our city.
